A dance wand, with the head of an animal, carved in softwood. It is decorated with designs in red ochre, yellow, black and white colour. It is said to be used in dances and is called "noo/gub" by the Meriam people. It was collected for the Museum by C. Hedley and A.R. McCulloch in 1907. (62x2.8cm.)
