A skirt made of sago palm leaves, knotted on to a belt of fine plaited coconut root cord, traded from New Guinea. It is said to be worn by women and is called a "nesool" or "nesur" by the Meriam people. It was collected for the Museum by C. Hedley and A.R. McCulloch in 1907.
