Label:
A water container, made from a coconut shell strung on a plaited coconut root strap and knotted through the eyes of the strap. It is said to be used for carrying water, hung from the shoulder. It is called "ni sor" by the Meriam people. It was collected by C. Hedley and A.R. McCulloch for the Museum in 1907. (11x8cm)
