- A mushroom-headed wooden club carved from a single piece of wood - with cylindrical grips and plain shafts, decorated with carved notches or scars. This type of club is said to have been introduced by Melanesian missionaries. They were known as "tut" by the Meriam people. It was collected by C. Hedley and A.R. McCulloch in 1907 for the Museum. (55x7.5cm.)
