Two sets of leglets, made of plaited coconut roots, comprising fifteen separate undecorated circles and two circles with coloured wool tags attached. They are said to be worn by men and women around the leg, below the knee, for adornment for dances and ceremonies. They are known as "maka maka" or "makamak" by the Meriam people. They were collected by C. Hedley and A.R. McCulloch in 1907. (D:12cm.)
