Label:
Armguard ornaments made of bamboo strips held together with red cotton. It is decorated with coloured and plain wool tufts. They are said to be replicas of spare bowstrings carried in an armguard and used in dances and ceremonies. Known as "ool" and "tage lu" by the Meriam people. It was collected for the Museum by C. Hedley and A.R. McCulloch in 1907.
