Label:
A breast ornament made from turtle-shell, with a fish hook design projecting from the base and some incised decoration on it. It is known as "sabakura/sabagorar" by the Meriam people and said to be worn by married women. It was collected for the Museum by C. Hedley and A.R. McCulloch in 1907.
