A necklace of olive shells suspended from a band of European string. They are said to be highly valued for trading purposes and are worn by women as personal adornment. It is called a "serere" or "tabo kaub-kaub" by the Meriam people. It was collected by C. Hedley and A.R. McCulloch for the Museum in 1907. (44x1.5cm.)
